Buttermilk Waffles (white or whole-wheat)


Ingredients

2 eggs (beaten well)
2 cups buttermilk or sour milk1 tsp. baking soda
2 cups all-purpose flour or 2 cups whole-wheat pastry flour
2 tsp. baking powder
½ tsp. salt
6 tbsp. soft unsalted butter

Instructions

Combine all ingredients in a large bowl. Beat until smooth.

Bake in a hot waffle iron per manufactures’ instructions.

Notes

This recipe can be halved.
