Mom’s Pecan Pie

2 cups pecan halves
2 tablespoons flour
1/2 cup sugar
3 eggs
1/3 cup soft butter
Dash of salt
1 cup light syrup (or King Syrup)
1 teaspoon vanilla
Unbaked pie shell
Whipped cream

Preheat oven to 375º (see notes below)

Mix flour thoroughly with sugar. Beat eggs slightly; add butter, salt, sugar mixture, syrup, nuts, and vanilla. Mix well and pour into unbaked pie shell.

Preheat oven and bake for 10 minutes at 375º and for 50 minutes at 350º.

Serve topped with whipped cream.
